Crazy horse/carp trail restricted use - please read. (no replies)

Hi Guys,

If you plan on taking the crazy horse/carp trail in the future please be advised that we have an a verbal agreement with the subdivision developer - we will stop and go no further than where the development starts. The trail passes on a new drainage system built by the developer and exits through the Crazy horse property - Private property.

So to keep the peace we agreed that we will stop short of the development. The OVO and the Jeep club have also agreed to turn around in the same area and we will be making some signs alerting wheelers in the area.

Thanks for your participation.

Louis

So some locals need help - stuck! (no replies)

A bunch of local yahoos bring out their stock 1990 toyota pickup and 4 runner, they posted on a local 4x4 forum asking for help - so I went and helped. Took about 3-4 hours to get them out - was kind fun too. The trail was actually a walking/atv trail here in the city, nothing with tires smaller that 38's can go through it now - pretty demo'd.

Scroll down for pics.

Here are some pics posted on a local car forum:

[redliners.ca]

Winter trail run (1 reply)

Anyone want to get out and about sometime between now and the middle of January? I'm back in Ottawa for that time period and I'd like to get my tires off the pavement at least once. The only place I really know of is up in Burnstown (near Calabogie), and Brian has mentioned a trail near Kaladar. If you have any other suggestions post 'em up!
